RE: Update COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Dear Valued Client,
Chino Hills Animal Hospital & Pet Resort provides services critical to animal and public health and is deemed an “Essential Business”. We will continue to stay open during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As the situation continues to evolve, we have updated our practices to limit direct contact in order to focus on safety for everyone during this pandemic. We ask that you follow the below steps for everyone’s safety:
• When you arrive at the hospital, please remain in your vehicle and call the hospital.
• Upon receiving your call, we will check you in as soon as possible from outside the hospital.
• If you are needing to pick up medication or food, please remain in your car and call the hospital. We will bring your order to your car as soon as possible.
• We will coordinate your visit from outside the hospital providing any discharge instructions, medications, and taking payments.
• If you feel you need to be inside our facility, please discuss your request in advance with Hospital Management.
• For emergencies, we will escort you to an assigned area to collect pertinent information from you and then ask you to return to your car to minimize contact and practice social distancing.

Chino Hills Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is committed to treating our patients and serving our clients during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This situation continues to evolve quickly, and we will be monitoring it closely. We will remain open for business and are devoted to providing an outstanding experience for you and your pets. We always clean and sanitize our Hospital and Resort daily and have increased both the frequency and scope of these cleaning to help ensure both our clients and associates are kept safe. Handwashing hygiene is critically important in a hospital, a step we continue to emphasize to staff and clients. Additionally, hand sanitizers are available to both clients and team members in the Hospital and Resort. We are working closely with our team members to ensure that anyone who is not feeling well understands that we support them staying home.
I have not been exposed and my pet is scheduled for a visit.
After checking in with reception, you are welcome to wait in the waiting area, outside or in your car. If you are in the waiting area, maintain distance between you and other clients. Please notify staff if you will be waiting in your car or will be outside. Limit the number of people who accompany you to the hospital. Use the client restrooms to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
I have been exposed to the coronavirus and my pet needs care.
In order to continue safely serving pets in need, we ask that clients who have symptoms associated with coronavirus, have been exposed to confirmed cases or suspected cases, traveled to a high risk country, or are confirmed positive themselves to not bring their pets in the hospital unless it is a medical emergency. For medical emergencies, please call the hospital so we may make the proper accommodations.
If your pet is due for routine care (vaccines, nail trims, ear cleaning, wellness exam, or any other non-urgent appointments), please call us to discuss rescheduling to a later time.
Can my pet get the coronavirus?
